I don't know about you, but March Madness gave me a huge writing boost. I didn't accomplish my original goal of finishing a rough first draft on my current WIP, but I did get over 10K written on it, plus I worked on revisions on two other novels and submitted them both to my agent. One is out on submission. I also wrote an outline for my next book. So all and all, I'm very happy with my March Madness accomplishments so far.
How about you? There are a few days left, will you meet your goals?

This blog is about books, mine and other fab authors', but occasionally I'll share about other topics.

My goodness...two revisions, an outline and 10k? How did you do it? Agent Awesome must love you!
ReplyDeletePersonally, I'm just waiting for March to end. The month has been a real stinker and I'm waiting for the fresh, clean month of April. Then I'll be productive. Promise.
I've actually done pretty well this month, considering all the non-writing things that happened. I didn't reach my goal of a chapter revision a day, but I have done at least two a week and that's way more than I would have otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI have done reasonably well. :) I've certainly written more than I would have without March Madness, and I'll meet my goal. I was kind of hoping to be able to exceed my goal, but it just looks like I'll have something to do in April.
ReplyDeleteI've done considerably better than I would have done without March Madness, but not as well as I'd have liked. Regardless, I know I can finish my draft WIP in April and that's awesome!
ReplyDeleteYou've done wonderfully well! I'm hopeful of meeting my goal. I haven't revised a complete chapter today, but I'm on the last one and knew that it would be the hardest as I've been rewriting the ending. I should be able to get it done in the next couple days. I'm sure I wouldn't have accomplished this much without March Madness so I'm very grateful for having been included in this challenge.
ReplyDeleteWow, way to go! Congrats on getting so much done in March. :D
