I'm author ELLE STRAUSS and welcome to my website!

I write fun, lower Young Adult (teen) fiction to do with whimsical things like time-travel, fairies and merfolk.

When my serious side peeks out, she's called LEE STRAUSS. She likes to write upper YA about real things that have happened in the past, or made up things that could quite possibly happen in the future.

This blog is about books, mine and other fab authors', but occasionally I'll share about other topics.

Thanks for dropping by!

  1. For some reason, the videos aren't working for me! I could only get to the guy getting out of the car. Ah well.

    Happy Monday!

  2. Too funny! I can't believe people actually got out of their cars and tried to follow along with those pseudo-cops. It is so ingrained in us to obey someone in uniform we are almost afraid to question.

  5. The first one was hilarious! And since I'm terrified of cops when they pull me over, I'd totally fall for that!

  6. Check out the Robert Pattison lookalike on the back left, roiling his shoulders and wiggling his hips with the oh-so-cool look on his face... LOL.

  7. Sorry, the vids didn't work. I was caught drink driving back in 1997 and ended uo handcuffed and in the cells at Dewsbury nick. they let me out at 03:00am when I was sober and when I arrived home my girlfriend was in tears. I was so ashamed that I have never done this since. I don't touch a drop if I'm driving.
