I write Young Adult and Middle Grade fiction. I'm a married mom of four, and live in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, famous for beaches and vineyards. I'm fond of Lindt's sea salt dark chocolate and hiking in good weather. FAQ

I have no only one FAQ--people, ask me questions!

Q4U?  How many times does a question have to be asked before it's considered frequent?

Yay, Amo answered my question:
"For a question to be frequent, it just has to be asked once. It has frequency of ONE."

So now I know. So here's the first FAQ.

1) Where, when, and how often do you do your writing? Your office, your kitchen table, all day long, from 9:00 to 9:15 AM, every day, once a week, twice a year, twice an hour...
Where: usually in my office, but sometimes I take my laptop into the living room, especially when it's cold out and there's a fire burning in the fireplace.

When: Whenever it works. I've recently entered a golden writing stage where I no longer have to drive my kids around. Whoot! In the past I usually worked or managed the house in the morning,  then wrote in the afternoon until it was time to pick the kids up from school. Now I can write morning, noon and night depending on what else is going on in my family and my life.

How often: Well, now that I'm also a publisher, it just depends where I'm at with each book. Sometimes I have to focus the whole day on publishing duties, and other times I can spend the work day writing/revisions. Usually it's a bit of both.

Thanks for asking the first question, Amo!
